Diana Berbega is a coach with extensive competitive experience and a successful background in modern pentathlon. For many years, she competed at a high national and international level and was a member of the Russian National Modern Pentathlon Team.
Fencing has always been a central part of Diana’s athletic development. Her background in modern pentathlon has given her a broad understanding of physical preparation, coordination, endurance, competitive discipline, and overall athlete development.
After completing her competitive career, Diana transitioned into coaching. At Bida Fencing Academy, she works primarily with beginner and developing athletes, helping them establish a strong technical foundation, become confident on the strip, and build the skills needed for continued progress.
Her coaching emphasizes technical fundamentals, coordination, movement, distance, physical preparation, and consistent step-by-step development. Diana adapts her approach to each athlete’s age, experience, and pace of learning.
In addition to coaching, Diana serves as Academy Operations Manager. She coordinates scheduling, day-to-day organization, communication with athletes and families, program logistics, and many of the operational details that keep the Academy running smoothly.
By combining her experience in high-level sport, coaching, and Academy operations, Diana helps create an organized, supportive, and efficient environment for athletes and families.
Her goal is to give developing athletes a strong foundation, confidence, and the right training habits to progress consistently and enjoy their fencing journey.
