For example, certain athlete, competition, emergency, medical, or membership information may be provided through AskFRED or other competition-registration services rather than through the BFA website.

BFA is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing BFA services.

7CHILDREN AND MINORS

Bida Fencing Academy provides fencing programs for children and takes the privacy of minors seriously.

The BFA website is intended primarily for parents, legal guardians, adult athletes, and other adults seeking information about the Academy and its programs.

Children under the age of 13 should not independently submit personal information through the Site.

Registrations involving a minor must be completed or authorized by the minor's parent or legal guardian.

Where BFA knowingly collects personal information online from a child under 13 in circumstances subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), BFA will take appropriate steps to provide required notice, obtain verifiable parental consent where required, limit collection to information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose, and provide parents or legal guardians with applicable rights concerning their child's information.

8ATHLETE INFORMATION

When a parent or legal guardian enrolls a minor in BFA programs, BFA may maintain information reasonably necessary to administer the athlete's participation, such as:

• Athlete name

• Gender

• Parent or guardian information

• Emergency contact information

• USA Fencing membership information

• Program enrollment information

• Training and scheduling information

• Other information reasonably necessary to provide Academy services

Certain additional information may be provided directly to third-party competition or registration platforms rather than through the BFA website.

BFA seeks to collect and maintain only information reasonably necessary for legitimate Academy purposes.

9PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO

BFA may photograph or record Academy activities, training, competitions, camps, events, and other programs.

For minors, permission regarding the use of photographs or video is addressed through applicable waivers, enrollment agreements, releases, or other authorization provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Where authorization has been provided, photographs or video may be used for purposes described in the applicable release, which may include BFA's website, social media, promotional materials, advertising, publications, or other Academy communications.

The terms of the applicable consent, waiver, or release govern such use.
